Job summary

Cambria is seeking a Truck Driver responsible for delivering Cambria’s products to a specified route of fabricators, with loading/unloading duties and warehouse support as needed. You will maintain safety standards, perform inspections, and uphold a high level of customer service for our partners.

Requirements include 1 year of straight truck driving, a valid CDL Class B, DOT medical clearance, and the ability to pass a background/MVR check.

Qualifications

  • 1 year of commercial driving experience with a straight truck.
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
  • Meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
  • Pass pre-employment substance abuse test as a safety sensitive employee.
  • Ability to operate a straight truck with care to prevent damage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Cambria’s products to designated route of fabricators on time and with accuracy.
  • Load and unload trailers and maintain truck cleanliness and safety.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain delivery records.
  • Maintain Bills of Lading and driving records; report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Provide high level of customer service to partners and operate forklifts/cranes as needed.

Job Description:This key position will deliver Cambria’s products to a specified route of fabricators on time and with accuracy in a friendly and professional manner. As a Truck Driver for Cambria, not only are you responsible for driving, you will also load and unload trailers, and perform other additional warehouse duties as needed, all while providing a high level of customer service to our partners.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Retain knowledge of and comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip inspectionsComplete daily bills of ladingMaintain safe operation and clean appearance of truckMaintain delivery, truck, and driving recordsReporting any maintenance malfunctions immediately after discovery of situationVerify product while loading/unloading inbound/outbound trailersAdhere to all safety requirementsSafely operate forklifts and cranes as neededOther duties as assigned by managementRequirements:1 year of commercial driving experience with a straight truckValid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) requiredMeet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirementsPass pre-employment substance abuse test as a safety sensitive employeeAbility to operate a straight truck with a high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to prevent damage to material and equipmentMust be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check in accordance with Cambria's standardsPreferred Qualifications and Skills:Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsSpeak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read and understand highways signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/recordsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyAbility to be forklift and crane certifiedAble to work in a fast-paced environment and problem solve as neededAdditional Requirements:Travel Requirements: Familiarity with region and routes. Ability to work flexible hours including overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight tripsPhysical Requirements:Lift up to 50 lbs.Push/pull up to 300 lbs.Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by CambriaParticipate in daily stretch and flex exercisesWork in an outdoor environment in all weather conditionsWalk up and down steps multiple times throughout shiftBend over multiple times throughout shiftCambria's starting hourly range for this position is $22.00-$27.00. Our hourly ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position across all US locations.
