Job summary

Heidelberg Materials in Kentucky is hiring a delivery driver to operate company trucks and deliver materials to customers and job sites. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, communicate with dispatchers and customers, and keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

The role requires a valid CDL with endorsements, knowledge of DOT regulations, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service in varying weather conditions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Safely operate company trucks to deliver materials to customers and job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle compliance and readiness.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
• Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
