Job summary

Charah Solutions, Inc. is seeking a dump truck operator to drive and maneuver dump trucks in an off-road setting at a designated job site.

You will also operate water trucks to suppress dust and ensure air quality, unload materials, coordinate with crew, and perform routine maintenance. The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of truck operation experience, and preferred experience in construction or similar environments.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum one-year experience operating trucks is required.
• Experience driving in a construction or similar environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of ash management, structural fills and landfills is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver dump trucks in an off-road setting.
• Operate water trucks to suppress particle build-up and maintain air quality on site.
• Safely unload material into designated areas.
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Must be able to quickly and repeatedly adjust controls of machine to exact positions as necessary.
• Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
