Job summary

Charah Solutions Inc. in Louisville, KY is seeking a Driver/Operator to run dump trucks and water trucks, supporting ash management and landfill-related work in a safety-conscious environment.

You will perform pre-trip inspections, operate trucks, unload materials, coordinate with crew, and assist with basic maintenance while adhering to all safety policies and regulatory requirements. Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Minimum one-year experience operating trucks is required.
• Experience driving in a construction or similar environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of ash management, structural fills and landfills is preferred.
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maneuver dump trucks in an off-road setting.
• Operate water trucks to suppress particle build-up and maintain air quality on site.
• Safely unload material into designated areas.
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities, positioning or moving loads in response to hand or audio signals from crew members.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when maintenance is needed.
• Adjust controls of machines to exact positions as necessary.
• Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
