Job summary

Veriha Trucking, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A driver to operate tractor-trailer configurations for OTR freight across the United States. You will be responsible for loading/unloading when needed, maintaining compliance with DOT safety standards, and ensuring accurate freight documentation.

Responsibilities include performing cargo procedures as required and performing routine inspections of brakes, tires, and other critical systems to guarantee safe operation on the road.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A from any US state (or foreign CDL with ability to obtain US Class A in 60 days)
• 12 months of experience required

Job Requirements

Drive a tractor-trailer combination or a truck with a capacity of at least 26,001 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW) to haul freight OTR in the U.S.; load and unload freight, when necessary; ensure proper documentation of freight; ensure Department of Transportation and safety guidelines are met; follow specific cargo-related procedures, when necessary; and regularly inspect tractor/trailer brakes, tires, and other mechanical functions to ensure safe operating conditions.

Other Experience and Qualifications

Driver must possess a Class A CDL from any US state, or a foreign commercial DL with the ability to obtain US Class A CDL within 60 days of employment. 12 months of experience required. No minimum education is required.
