Job summary

Cambria is seeking a qualified driver to join our distribution team in Minnesota. You will load and unload trailers, perform basic quality checks, follow SOPs, and ensure safety and accurate paperwork for deliveries.

A valid Class-A CDL and DOT medical are required, with the ability to operate lift equipment when needed. The role calls for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can manage time, work independently, and communicate effectively with customers at delivery sites.

Qualifications

  • Meet DOT physical and medical requirements.
  • Valid Class-A CDL.
  • Pass MVR check per Cambria standards.
  • Pass pre-employment substance abuse test.
  • Operate vans/conestoga trailers safely with attention and dexterity.

Responsibilities

  • Correctly obtain paperwork and signatures upon delivery and returning paperwork to Administrator's office.
  • Checking product when unloading.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers.
  • Adhere to all safety requirements.
  • Ensure facility is maintained and kept clean at all times to promote a safe work environment.
  • Drive a lift truck meeting unit quality and productivity needs.
  • Complete paperwork thoroughly and promptly.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned accurately and courteously.
  • Follow planned load reports and stage the proper material.
  • Perform basic quality inspection of product prior to shipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Minim um Qualifications
  • Meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements
  • Must possess a valid Class-A Commercial Driver's License
  • Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Check in accordance with Cambria's standards
  • Pass pre-employment substance abuse test as a safety sensitive employee
  • Ability to operate van trailers or Conestoga flatbed trailers with a high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity to prevent damage to material and equipment.
  • Ability to use power equipment safely and following proper instructions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to speak and read English sufficiently to converse with the general public, read and understand highway signs/signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports/records.
  • Ability to understand basic math concepts
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Tact and diplomacy required in dealing with customers at delivery locations to enhance our organizations reputation by ensuring courteous customer service

Physical Requirements
  • Work at varying heights, including on the rooftop of the buildings
  • Lift up to 60 lbs.
  • Push/pull 100 lbs.
  • Stand on feet for long periods of time during a shift for up to 12 hours, with intermittent breaks
  • Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided by Cambria
  • Participate in daily stretch and flex exercises
  • Work in an outdoor environment in all weather conditions
  • Walk up and down steps multiple times throughout shift
  • Bend over multiple times throughout shift

Cambria's starting hourly range for this position is $25.00- $28.75. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This position may be eligible for a 15% shift differential which would be applied to the base hourly rate for all hours worked during designated overnight shift periods. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
