Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver for local routes in the Fairfield, IA area. You will safely deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses, while representing Ferrellgas with professionalism in the community. This role emphasizes teamwork and safety, with on-call duties for emergencies.

We value a good driving record and a CDL with HazMat and Tank endorsements (or ability to obtain). Home every night on local routes, with benefits and growth opportunities within Ferrellgas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain.
• Good driving record and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred


• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly


• High school diploma or equivalent


• Good driving record


• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions


• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States


• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
