Job summary

Ferrellgas in Bishop, CA is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses, keeping families warm and our community supplied. You’ll operate propane trucks, follow DOT standards, and provide friendly service as the face of Ferrellgas.

We offer local routes with home every night, starting pay of $30.00 per hour, 401(k) with company match, ESOP, PTO, paid training, and employee discounts.

Qualifications

• Class A or B CDL with HazMat and Tanker endorsements or ability to obtain quickly.
• Good driving record and clean DOT history.
• High school diploma or equivalent; legal eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity on every shift.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in the community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
