Job summary

Ferrellgas in Savannah, GA is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses. You will be on the road daily, adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service while representing Ferrellgas in the community.

Ideal candidates have a Class A/B CDL, HazMat and Tanker endorsements, and a strong driving record. You’ll work local routes and may participate in on-call rotations. Outdoor, physical work is required, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class A or B CDL, HazMat and Tanker endorsements (or able to obtain quickly).
• Strong commitment to safety and reliable driving record.
• Must be physically capable of lifting up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment by following DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain delivery logs.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in the community.
• Be part of on-call rotations for after-hours or weekend deliveries.

• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
