Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a dependable CDL Driver to deliver propane to homes, farms, and businesses. Local routes mean you will be home every night, with starting pay at $30.00 per hour and a strong benefits package including 401(k) with match and ESOP.

You will uphold safety and customer service standards, operate propane trucks, and complete daily inspections. Training is provided to ensure you can perform your duties safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• CDL with required endorsements (HazMat and Tanker) or ability to obtain quickly.
• Clean driving record and a safe driving history.
• Stable work authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver propane to residential, commercial, and industrial customers.
• Lead with teamwork, professionalism, and integrity every day.
• Provide friendly, professional service as the face of Ferrellgas in your community.
• Operate propane trucks and equipment following all DOT and company safety standards.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate delivery logs.
• Support customers with questions about deliveries, accounts, and propane safety.
• Take part in an on-call rotation for after-hours or weekend emergency deliveries.

Qualifications

• Previous truck driving experience preferred
• Class A or B CDL, HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsement, or be able to obtain quickly
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good driving record
• Physically able to lift up to 60 pounds in all weather conditions
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
• Applicants must not now, or any time in the future, require sponsorship for an employment visa.
