Job description

The Truck Driver will support our business by ensuring timely deliveries to the airports we support. No overnights. Must have the ability to process shipping and receiving functions, unload trucks, pull, pack, and deliver stock orders. Associates must communicate effectively and partner with store management, vendors, and airport staff to ensure proper compliance with rules and regulations for deliveries and merchandise movement throughout the location. Must possess the ability to learn job responsibilities, including a good knowledge of the warehouse layout, types of inventory processed, and merchandise departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make local and regional deliveries using a box truck - No overnights required
• Shifts begin at 4:00 AM
• Prioritize customer service at all times, both internal and external customers
• Provide excellent customer service through efficient inventory control and distribution
• Utilize company tools and resources responsibly, following security practices
• Create and maintain good working relationships with colleagues
• Maintain a clean and safe store/stockroom/warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations, visual merchandising, and maintenance standards
• Complete required paperwork and process controls accurately
• Apply stock security measures consistently as per defined processes
• Resolve inventory control issues and escalate when necessary
• Report and follow up on IMT issues accurately
• Report discrepancies to management according to defined procedures
• Assist in stock pricing and store stocking as needed

Position Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum one year of truck driving experience required
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong customer service and effective communication skills required
• Work with a sense of urgency and prioritize tasks effectively
• Self-starter with minimal instruction needed
• Adaptability to changing priorities and unexpected situations required
• Ability to perform computer work, heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.), long periods of standing, climbing, bending, and work during nights, weekends, and holidays based in a store or group of stores
