Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) is seeking a driver to deliver orders to customers across all shifts, including weekends, in company trucks. You will verify orders and ensure accuracy while maintaining safety and compliance with DOT regulations.

Role requires a Class A CDL, 1+ year experience, and a strong safe-driving record. Log books or e-logs must be properly maintained, with attention to on-time performance and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.

Responsibilities

• Deliver orders to customers and check them for accuracy.
• Follow DOT regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and report any deficiencies in equipment.
• Maintain logs (log book or e-logs) as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work involves all shifts including weekends in company trucks, delivering orders to our customers and checking them for accuracy.

Responsible for following all DOT regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, properly maintaining your log book and/or e-logs, and reporting any deficiencies in your equipment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

High school graduate or equivalent.

Class A Commercial Driver's License and 1+ years of Tractor/Trailer driving experience.

Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.

Dependable and safety conscious.

Consistent on-time performance and strong customer service skills.

Excellent driving record.

EOBR knowledge preferred.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

• Hourly rate: $19.15/hr.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
