Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America seeks a Class A CDL driver to perform trucking duties in the Columbus, IN area. This role includes delivering orders, checking for accuracy, and working across all shifts including weekends in company trucks to serve customers.

Responsibilities include following DOT regulations, pre-/post-trip inspections, log maintenance (logs or e-logs), and reporting equipment deficiencies. Competitive hourly pay with benefits enrollment and 401(k) plan offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Class A CDL and 1+ years of Tractor/Trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.
• Dependable and safety conscious.
• Consistent on-time performance and strong customer service skills.
• Excellent driving record.
• EOBR knowledge preferred.

Basic Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License and 1+ years of Tractor/Trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.
• Dependable and safety conscious.
• Consistent on-time performance and strong customer service skills.
• Excellent driving record.
• EOBR knowledge preferred.

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly rate: $28.62/hr.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
