Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America (PCA) seeks a Class A CDL driver to deliver orders and cover all shifts, including weekends, in PCA company trucks.

You will follow DOT rules, perform pre/post trip inspections, keep precise logs, and report equipment deficiencies while maintaining a safe driving record. PCA offers benefits after 30 days and a 401(k) with employer matching.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License and 1+ years of Tractor/Trailer driving experience.
• Must be at least 21 yrs. of age.
• Dependable and safety conscious.
• Consistent on-time performance and strong customer service skills.
• Excellent driving record.
• EOBR knowledge preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work involves all shifts including weekends in company trucks, delivering orders to our customers and checking them for accuracy.
• Responsible for following all DOT regulations, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections, properly maintaining your log book and/or e-logs, and reporting any deficiencies in your equipment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

• Hourly rate: $19.15/hr.
• Within the first 30 days of employment, an employee (and their dependents) is eligible to enroll in certain benefit coverages -- medical, dental, and vision – and are automatically enrolled in life, AD&D, and disability coverages.
• Upon hire, an employee is automatically enrolled in the 401k plan. The plan offers both pre-tax and Roth contribution options along with employer provided matching contributions.
