Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in Brunswick, GA is seeking a skilled technician to perform light mechanical duties on commercial highway trucks and trailers. You will handle electrical wiring, lighting, brakes, air systems, and related components, contributing to reliable fleet service.

This role requires at least 1 year of commercial truck service experience, a valid driver’s license, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of commercial truck service experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle required for the position.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Execute proficient light mechanical duties on commercial highway trucks and trailers (electrical wiring and lighting, alignment, exhaust systems, brakes and air systems, driveline and suspension, A/C, cooling and radiators, fuel systems).
• Be prepared to perform on-call services as required.
• Assist in stocking tires and maintaining organized storage areas.
• Uphold our commitment to Service Excellence – Always and meet location service objectives.
• Engage in manual tasks including handling commercial tires and wheels, with standing, bending, and squatting.
