Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing/Transportation Solutions is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to repair and maintain trucks and trailers at our Fairless Hills, PA location. You will use advanced diagnostic equipment and welding, painting and frame alignment techniques to return vehicles to top condition.

Qualifications

6 years practical experience or equivalent combination of related education and experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational/technical school preferred.
Specialized training and experience in repair/refinish of all series of truck and trailer required.
Proficiency in the use of all tools of trade (including welding equipment, paint equipment, shop machines, and power tools) required.
Basic computer skills required.
Must understand and comply with DOT/OSHA and Penske safety policies.
Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

Perform all levels of Truck Collision Repair and maintenance services.
Overhaul, adjust, replace and repair Cab/Sheet Metal, Fiberglass, Paint/ Tinting/ Blending, Welding, Frame alignment, Suspension and related systems.
Identify and determine parts required for repair of disassembled truck and trailer units.
Identify warrantable repairs and document on repair order.
Maintain work area appearance and safety and road test vehicles when necessary.
Work with little supervision and in a timely, efficient manner.
