Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Tradesmen in the Raleigh, NC area to install and service heavy commercial and industrial equipment. You will troubleshoot issues, drive results under the employer’s labor agreement, and provide quotes and upsell opportunities to maintain facility efficiency.

The role offers training through the Service Technical Academy (STA) and supports career growth within a leading Building Technology OEM.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with HVAC equipment is required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• A valid driver’s license with no major/frequent violations is required.
• Be willing to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and drive results under the labor agreement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve problems and respond to basic warranty calls.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to improve facility efficiency.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and upsell where appropriate.
