Job summary

Johnson Controls Inc. is seeking skilled HVAC Mechanics to support light and/or heavy commercial HVAC service across North America. You will perform maintenance, repair and replacement on commercial heating and cooling systems and collaborate with field teams to ensure customer satisfaction.

We provide a strong safety culture, training through our Service Technical Academy, tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle to service customers to the highest standards. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be a member or willing to join United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry.
• Minimum 3 years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with rooftop units, pumps, fans, boilers, chillers, compressors, and plumbing.
• EPA refrigerants license and valid driver’s license.
• Travel up to 20% to support branch activities.
• Able to pass knowledge examination.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repair and replacement services on commercial heating and cooling systems.
• Work with light commercial or heavy commercial teams on HVAC equipment service.
• Adhere to safety standards and participate in training programs.
