Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking an onsite Assembly Technician in Mount Holly, NC. You will install and assemble components for heavy duty trucks, using LEAN principles and company data systems, while maintaining a safe, organized workspace.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States, able to read and write English, and perform basic math. Overtime and weekend shifts are required, with potential relocation not offered for this role.

Qualifications

• Able to work in a heavy manufacturing environment with lifting, carrying, pulling and pushing.

Responsibilities

• Install/assemble components for heavy duty trucks.
• Use computer systems to access company data in the assembly process.
• Utilize drawings, bill of materials, and specification sheets in electronic and hard copy.
• Understand and apply LEAN principles to the assembly process.
• Maintain a clean workstation that supports safety and pride in the product.
• Operate tools and equipment: Jigs and Fixtures, Henrob, Pneumatic and DC tools for fasteners and assembly.

Qualifications – External
