GetHired, Inc. is seeking a hands-on tradesperson who loves working with their hands and enjoys a jack-of-all-trades role.

You will work safely with minimal supervision, contribute to quality workmanship, and engage in activities around trucks and vans, including odd jobs. The ideal candidate should be ready to progress toward mobile heavy-truck technician or trailer mechanic roles with a diversified company across the medium/heavy truck sector.

We are looking for an individual who loves working with their hands and considers themselves a backyard mechanic or jack of trades (we are not looking for some who is not and wants to be). This opportunity is for an individual who will work safely with minimal supervision, is proud to produce quality work and enjoys working on trucks and vans, working around the shop and doing odd jobs.

The duties will include but not limited too:

• Assembling and installing shelving and components for mobile workshops
• Installing 12v lighting and accessories
• Light metal fabrication and Mig welding.
• Light wood working
• Routing and connecting air lines
• Working with hydraulics
• Loading the completed vehicles with inventory and labeling
• Periodically going for a road trip to deliver or retrieve vehicles to or from technicians

The ideal candidate would be someone who wanted to be a mechanic or tradesmen but didn’t or could not finish school for one reason or another.

This opportunity is a rare opportunity due to the overall dynamics of the company. Work Hours, Pay and Benefits

• Normal work hours Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (1hr lunch)
• Overtime after 8hrs
