At Vander Haag’s, our Yard Technicians work directly with heavy-duty trucks and components, pulling usable parts, operating equipment, and helping keep our operation moving. This is a hands‑on role where mechanical ability and work ethic matter more than a resume.

What You’ll Do

• Remove and recover usable parts from diesel trucks and equipment
• Inspect parts to ensure quality and accuracy for customers
• Operate forklifts, loaders, and yard equipment to move trucks and components
• Work closely with parts sales and shipping to complete orders
• Assist customers with loading parts
• Keep the yard, trucks, and equipment clean and organized

What We’re Looking For

• Mechanically inclined (you don’t have to know everything, just enjoy working with your hands and learning every day!)
• Self‑starter who can work independently
• Comfortable working outdoors in all types of weather
• Able to lift up to 75 lb

Hours

Day shift hours, Monday through Friday. No evenings, weekends, or holidays required!

Compensation

• This position pays an hourly base compensation + overtime.
• Pay is dependent on experience and can range from $17.00 - $22.00 per hour, dependent upon qualifications & experience.
