The position requires EPA 608 certification, a valid state license, and FMCSA-qualified inspections.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in trailer refrigeration maintenance and repair.
• EPA Section 608 Refrigerant Handling Certification.
• Valid state-issued driver's license.
• Brake inspection qualified as defined in FMCSA regulations, Section 396.25.
• Vehicle Inspection qualified as defined in FMCSA regulations, Section 396.19.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on TRUs and related systems following OEM procedures.
• Maintain and repair trailers and their electrical, braking, and structural components.
• Service and repair tractor-trailer braking systems, including inspections and replacements.
• Perform tire services and axle alignments using electronic equipment.
• Receive fuel deliveries, sample fuel, monitor levels, and document compliance.
• Process warranty repairs and claims with proper documentation.
• Diagnose equipment issues, order parts, and perform maintenance on fleet equipment.
• Complete work orders and maintenance logs while complying with DOT regulations.
• Collaborate with technicians to ensure equipment reliability.
