Qualifications

• Earned doctorate or terminal degree in teaching discipline or related field.
• PhD in music or related field; ABD considered; degree must be conferred by start date.
• Experience teaching at the college level; expertise in low brass pedagogy preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach private trombone lessons to undergraduate students.
• Develop and maintain a studio of sufficient size to meet ensemble needs.
• Attract and retain high-achieving students; teach brass pedagogy/low brass and gen ed courses.
