Job summary

Valar Atomics is seeking a highly skilled Process Technician to join the TRISO pilot line in Utah. You will own operation of state-of-the-art chemical processing equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to install, troubleshoot, and optimize pilot-scale uranium processing systems.

This is a full-time on-site role in Orangeville, Utah. We value autonomy, ownership, and impact, with opportunities to influence safety, quality, and yield improvements across the line.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of excellence in previous jobs and activities.
• Strong interest in materials, manufacturing processes, and mechanical systems for wet chemistry and/ or high temperature processing.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to support root cause investigations.
• Experience in production/ industrial environments.
• Excellent communication, technical documentation, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Emery County, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of process equipment and adherence to procedures and safety standards.
• Quality control sampling, analyses, and root cause investigations as needed.
• Equipment inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting with maintenance teams.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and thorough handovers.
• Monitor environmental compliance and report deviations promptly.
• Improve yields through time and cross-functional collaboration.
• Cross-functional collaboration with processing line functions.
