Job summary

Valar Atomics seeks a skilled Process Technician for our TRISO manufacturing pilot line in Utah. You will own state-of-the-art chemical processing equipment, install, troubleshoot, and optimize pilot-scale uranium processing with cross-functional teams.

This is a full-time role based in Orangeville, Utah. You will ensure safety, quality, and operational reliability while driving yield improvements and maintaining rigorous documentation across shifts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of excellence in previous jobs.
• Strong interest in materials, manufacturing processes, and high-temperature processing.
• Analytical mindset to support root cause investigations.
• Experience in production/industrial environments.
• Excellent communication, technical documentation, and leadership skills.
• Willingness to relocate to Emery County, Utah.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor process equipment safely and per procedures.
• Collect in-process and finished product samples; perform analyses and report deviations.
• Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment; coordinate with maintenance.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and thorough handovers for continuity.
• Record environmental monitoring findings and escalate deviations.
• Aim to improve yield throughout time.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on processing lines.
