HFL 412 Marine Inc. seeks an experienced Trip Pilot to navigate inland waterways, ensuring safety of crew, vessel, cargo, and environment. Responsibilities include operating the tow, maintaining logs, and coordinating with USCG and dock personnel.
The role requires a valid USCG Merchant Mariner’s Credential with Towing Endorsement, a valid TWIC, and passing pre-employment drug and physical examinations. Expect long shifts and strict safety compliance.
Trip Pilots are primarily responsible for the safety of vessel employees, the vessel, cargo and the environment. The primary responsibility is to navigate the vessel safely at all times, in all weather conditions, while navigating the inland waterways.
