Job summary

North Central Texas College on the Corinth campus seeks a TRIO Talent Search Student Services Manager to lead and manage the U.S. Department of Education-funded program in collaboration with Lewisville ISD and NCTC.

You will provide leadership, program development, and student services to help disadvantaged students prepare for higher education. Responsibilities include program management, budgeting, reporting, student services, outreach, staff supervision, and collaboration with schools.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of legislations and regulations governing the grant and ability to interpret them
• Statistical analysis to identify equity gaps and best practices
• Strong research to develop policies and procedures for grant programs
• Knowledge of development, implementation, and evaluation of federal grants
• Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics and data reporting
• Strong written communication for memos, procedures, reports and presentations
• Analytical skills for mandatory reporting requirements
• Project management to oversee multiple grants and timelines
• Strong verbal communication to present recommendations to senior management

Responsibilities

• Program management to meet Talent Search grant objectives and budgets
• Recruit eligible participants from designated schools in Lewisville ISD
• Provide academic, career, and financial aid counseling to participants
• Facilitate workshops, college visits, and enrichment activities
• Develop partnerships with schools, community orgs, colleges and universities
• Supervise program staff and provide professional development
• Prepare narrative and APR reporting for DOE compliance
• Travel with groups of students as needed and act as chaperone
• Other duties as assigned
