Job summary

Paul D. Camp Community College seeks a TRiO SSS Academic Advisor to deliver personalized academic, career, and transfer advising to TRiO SSS participants at Suffolk/Franklin centers. You will assess needs, create academic plans, connect students with resources, and serve as liaison.

This grant-funded role requires collaboration with campus offices, data management for annual reports, and travel between college locations; evenings/weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or related field required.
• Minimum three years of relevant student services experience.
• Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic, career, and transfer advising to TRiO SSS participants.
• Assist students with financial aid and scholarship applications.
• Coordinate and provide classroom accommodations with campus offices.
• Identify, select, and onboard eligible students into TRiO SSS.
• Maintain weekly communications with participants.
• Organize and facilitate workshops and activities supporting student success.
• Plan and coordinate academic enrichment activities and student engagement.
• Disseminate information about TRiO SSS to the campus community.
• Collect and maintain data for annual performance reports and grant renewal.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of student progress.
• Assist with data management to support reporting, evaluation, and compliance.
• Serve as college liaison for EAB Navigate.
