Job description

# Trinity Church – Kids Pastorby | Oct 5, 2026The Kids Pastor at Trinity Church will lead a thriving children’s ministry that teaches the Bible with depth, makes Jesus fun, and partners with parents to disciple the next generation. This leader will oversee a ministry that serves kids at every weekend service and midweek, and will build the volunteers, staff, and systems that make it work. As Trinity prepares to move into a facility four times its current size, the Kids Pastor will shape the spaces, teams, and culture that let the ministry serve far more families. If you love shepherding kids and parents, multiplying leaders, and building a ministry where joy and discipleship go together, this is a rare opportunity.### Requirements* A true pastor with a shepherd’s heart for kids and parents, not a kids speaker or a platform builder.* A gifted Bible teacher who brings Scripture to kids in a way that is biblical, Spirit-aware, and practical.* A developer of leaders who recruits, trains, and multiplies volunteers and moves from doing the ministry to developing ministers.* Someone who thrives in a Word and Spirit theological family: anchored in Scripture and open to the gifts and work of the Holy Spirit.* A leader who thinks in systems, not just events, and who wants to build structure, clarity, and follow-through for a ministry that will scale.* A spiritually and emotionally healthy pastor with a strong marriage and family life, ideally a parent who understands family life firsthand.* A humble, teachable leader who sees Trinity as a long-term calling and a place to plant roots.### Why We Love This OpportunityI spent my ministry career leading kids, so I know how rare it is to find a church that makes kids central to its identity instead of tucking them into a back hallway. Trinity throws parties on earth to practice for the joy of heaven, and it pairs that joy with serious Bible teaching and a real commitment to parents. This Kids Pastor will step into a church about to nearly quadruple its space and will help decide what the next generation experiences.### About Trinity ChurchTrinity Church is a fast-growing, Bible-teaching, Spirit-empowered church located in the heart of Scottsdale, Arizona. Founded ten years ago by Pastor Mark Driscoll and family, Trinity has become a home for thousands of young families, new believers, and people seeking a healthy, joyful, deeply biblical church community. With a mission to “open our Bibles to learn, open our lives to love, so that lives and legacies are transformed,” Trinity blends robust Bible preaching with vibrant worship, strong discipleship pathways, and a deeply relational, family-first culture. The church is entering its biggest season yet, acquiring a facility four times its current size, expanding parking dramatically, preparing for midweek programming, and anticipating explosive growth. Kids, students, young adults, and families are at the epicenter of that growth.### About Scottsdale“The Phoenix area has everything I could ever ask for raising a young family. It has awesome parks and great neighborhoods and really unique things like the aquarium and train park while also having very low-key and quiet neighborhoods within comfortable driving distance of the church. It’s only two hours from an escape in the mountains, where there is snow at Christmas and an escape from the heat in summer. And I love living in a big city without it feeling as congested as some other major cities like Chicago. My wife and I truly love it here.”*Pastor Carl Steele – Campus Pastor*Apply on the Original Posting →**Job Category:** Children's Ministry**Job Type:** Full Time**Location/State:** Arizona**Job Level:** Director**Remote Status:** On-Site
