Job summary

PowerGrid Services, LLC is seeking personnel to operate a Jarraff and other heavy equipment for power line right of way vegetation management. The role involves hard physical work outdoors across various locations, with rigorous safety and incident reporting requirements.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card. CDL is preferred; duties include traveling long distances on short notice and working overtime in all weather

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of tasks involving physical manual labor.
• Maintain a neat and clean job site to avoid potential hazards.
• Operate chippers, chainsaws, bucket trucks, and other hand tools as needed.
• Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• CDL is preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Must be able to pass drug, alcohol, and background checks.
• Must have good hand eye coordination.
• Must be able to repair tools and equipment as needed.
• Able and willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Able and willing to work for extended periods in various locations.
• Able and willing to work in all types of weather environments including inclement weather.
• Able and willing to work overtime when required.
• Must be able to enter and exit vehicles numerous times per day.
• Must be able to wear PPE.Understanding of the utility industry and operations.

• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from various heights.
• Must be able to work in uneven and slippery conditions.
• Required to have close visual acuity to perform job duties.
