Job summary

Sierra Bullets, LLC in Sedalia, MO seeks a skilled Trimmer LTS to set up, operate, and maintain jacket trim machines in our production facility. A high school diploma or GED and a mechanical aptitude test score are required. Physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand long periods is expected.

Qualifications

• Score of 17 or higher on the Sierra Bullets Mechanical Aptitude Test.
• Manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and maintain jacket trim machines.

• Operate production area to established quality and productivity standards.
• Report production information timely using computer or manual forms.
• Communicate with Trim Lead and Production Supervisors about activity and issues.
• May train new Trimmer LTS as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Summary:

Set up, operate efficiently, and maintain Sierra Bullets jacket trim machines.

Essential Functions of the Job (listed in order of importance):

• Work safety at all times.
• Strictly adhere to all Company SOPs and policies.
• Operate assigned production area, daily, to established standards of quality, and productivity.
• Resolve production problems in a timely manner in assigned production areas while improving quality and productivity.
• Provide clear and consistent communication with the Trim Lead and Production Supervisors regarding all activity and issues relating to the assigned Production area.
• Accurately report all production related information on a timely basis using computer or manual form.
• May be asked to train new Trimmer LTS.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Work closely with individuals at all levels of the company to continuously improve Quality Cost, and Delivery.

Skills Required To Perform The Duties Of The Job

• Ability to work with and communicate well with others while displaying a positive attitude and work environment.
• Ability to use metrology equipment such as scales, calipers, and micrometers.
• Working knowledge of decimals, fractions, and basic mathematics.
• Mechanical ability to troubleshoot tooling and machinery.
• Ability to perform tool and machine part adjustments.
• Ability to perform close tolerance and detailed mechanical work.

Educational Requirements Needed to Perform the Duties of the Job:

• High school diploma or GED.

• Able to stand, twist, stoop, kneel, and bend for long periods of time.
