What you'll do as a Trimmer Trainee at Lewis:

• Participate in an innovative climbing skills training program
• Be part of a team working in a collaborative environment
• Perform line clearing and tree trimming duties, including pruning, removal, and debris cleanup
• Climb trees for manual trimming and removals near power lines
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as hand tools, chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts
• Apply chemicals safely and responsibly
• Enforce safety practices to safeguard employees and the public

What you'll need:

• At least six months experience as a ground crew member around utility wires
• Ability to perform physical labor, lifting at least 50 lbs
• Capability to operate two-handed equipment and endure extreme weather conditions
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications and licenses
• Ability to obtain First Aid and CPR certifications
• Pass pre-employment drug and skills tests
• Valid Driver's License (ability to obtain if not available)
