Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $20.29.

This is a production position focused on ensuring safe work practices while producing quality products. The role requires the employee to work safely, follow safety rules, be dependable, and follow instructions according to established operating procedures.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Supporting and promoting safe practices and environmental commitments in line with company policies.
  2. Participating in safety committees as required.
  3. Wearing all required PPE.
  4. Using safe work practices and reporting hazards.
  5. Completing necessary training to stay compliant.
  6. Maintaining cleanliness and order in work areas.
  7. Monitoring and reporting equipment conditions.
  8. Handling specific tasks such as removing formed PVC fittings, flipping fittings, trimming, and converting fittings to specifications.
  9. Reporting equipment malfunctions, delays, or defects.
  10. Sorting and knowledge of bundling charts.
  11. Preparing production reports.
  12. Following verbal and written instructions from supervisors or leads.
  13. Performing flipping online tasks and managing fitting storage.
  14. Using tools like end cap cutters.
  15. Performing other duties as assigned.

Education, Experience, and Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Flexibility in work and assignments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and fast-paced environment.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capability to handle multiple priorities safely.
Work Environment

The role involves working around heavy machinery with moving parts and mobile equipment. The environment may be hot, cold, dirty, and noisy. Employees must wear PPE at all times, including steel-toed shoes, ear and eye protection, gloves, and high-visibility clothing.
