Job summary

AllTerra Central, Inc. seeks a Technical Support Specialist to assist customers using Trimble geospatial hardware and software. The role emphasizes troubleshooting, clear communication, and hands-on support in surveying contexts, with travel to client sites as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience in Trimble Geospatial technology and survey field procedures, plus strong customer service and problem-solving skills. Office tools and field software familiarity are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience using Trimble survey software.
• Working knowledge of survey field procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to customers by phone, email, and in person.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware and software issues and provide timely, accurate solutions.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience while helping users resolve technical challenges.
• Document customer issues, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions in HubSpot.
• Develop and document troubleshooting procedures for recurring technical issues.
• Identify trends in support requests and recurring customer issues.
• Assist customers with Trimble geospatial field and office software and equipment.
• Travel occasionally to customer or company locations, training, seminars, or other off-site assignments.
• Remain flexible to assist outside normal business hours when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
