Job summary

48forty Solutions is hiring a Trim Saw Operator in Orangeburg, SC to set up and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood used in pallet creation.

The position offers $15.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday shift from 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. Overtime may be required. A full benefits package is available for eligible full-time employees, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, disability, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, or roofing preferred.
• Lift wooden pallets (~50 lbs) regularly.

As a Trim Saw Operator, you’ll set up our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation. You’ll be a vital part of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role.

Hourly Pay: $15.00/hr.

Shift: Monday–Friday 7:00 am – 3:00 pm

Location: Orangeburg, SC, 29115

• Operate power saws to cut and trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed
