Job summary

48forty Solutions in Gray Court, SC is seeking a Saw Shop Operator to setup and operate power saws for slotting, cutting, and trimming wood pallets. You’ll be a vital part of the pallet manufacturing process and help ensure efficient operations on day shifts.

The role offers hourly pay and a Monday–Friday shift, overtime as needed, with full-time benefits including health, retirement, PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift wooden pallets up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Experience in lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing preferred.
• Fast, careful work with a focus on quality.
• Good communication skills and willingness to work overtime as needed.

As a Saw Shop Operator, you’ll get to setup our builders for success by setting up and operating power saws to slot, cut, and trim wood for pallet creation! You’ll be the a vital piece of our pallet manufacturing process, and we’re looking for a motivated individual to fill this role!

Hourly Pay

$17.00/hr.

Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm

What You'll Do

• Operate power saws to cut & trim wood pallets
• Follow and adhere to all safety rules and regulations
• Communicate to plant management effectively on a regular basis
• Ability to work overtime as needed

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift wooden pallets which weigh about 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Previous lumber, warehouse, construction, carpentry, landscaping, roofing, experience highly preferred
• Quick hands, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work overtime as needed

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
