Job summary

TE Connectivity offers an internship in Middletown, PA within the Corporate Technology team to develop new connector materials. You will build hands-on experience in tribology, coatings and material characterization, contributing to project objectives and presenting findings to the team.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a graduate degree in Materials Science or related fields, with hands-on lab experience and a minimum GPA of 3.0.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tribology methods in materials science laboratory settings.
• Experience with coatings technologies (electroplating, metallization, surface modification).
• Familiarity with lubricants: formulation, testing, evaluation and common failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Understand materials, contact physics, plating, lubricants, wear of materials.
• Support evaluations of process capabilities and material properties.
• Document findings and share project results in team presentations.
