Job summary

TE Connectivity offers an internship in the Global Technology Business Unit in Fremont, CA for PhD students in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, or Polymer Science. You will support advanced materials analysis and R&D in the Corporate Technology Center, performing hands-on testing with a range of analytical instruments and reporting results to internal customers.

• Pursuing a PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Gain hands-on experience with SEM/EDS, XRF, Raman, and other instruments.
• Document experiments, analyze data, report findings to stakeholders.
• Work on polymeric materials and structure–property relationships.
• Conduct literature searches and scouting on material formulations for CTC labs.
• Demonstrate the ability to analyze complex material issues and solve problems.
• Collaborate effectively within a team and communicate results clearly.
