Montana State University Billings is seeking a Tribal Transfer Coordinator to support Native students transferring to MSU Billings. The Tribal Transfer Coordinator supports Native students transitioning to Montana State University Billings, with a focus on students transferring from tribal colleges and other institutions. The position builds relationships with prospective and current transfer students, provides culturally responsive guidance, and connects students with academic, financial aid, admissions, and campus resources.
The Coordinator will work closely with tribal colleges, Tribal communities, campus partners, and the Native American Achievement Center to strengthen transfer pathways, reduce barriers to enrollment and persistence, and create a strong sense of belonging for Native students. The position will also assist with outreach, student events, transfer programming, and tracking student engagement and outcomes.
