Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. (SALA) is seeking a Tribal Court Attorney to handle a variety of civil cases in tribal court, serving low-income families across southeastern Arizona.
The role requires Arizona Bar admission or eligibility, potential to practice before Tohono O’odham courts, and 2–5 years of advocacy experience. Southern Arizona Legal Aid, Inc. (SALA) is hiring a Tribal Court Attorney. The person to be hired will be required to undertake a variety of civil cases in tribal court. SALA provides services to low-income families and individuals in nine counties and eleven tribal communities in southeastern Arizona.
Salary range $58,656 – $101,915 DOE; up to 5% additional compensation to individuals fluent in a language other than English, that is used by more than 10% of SALA’s eligible client population. SALA has an excellent benefits package including health insurance, pension plan and generous leave provisions.
