Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in counseling, education, student services or related field.
• Experience providing academic advising, student support, counseling, case management, or educational services.
• Experience working with K–12 or postsecondary students.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized academic counseling to tribal student participants.
• Assist students with educational goals and planning.
• Develop individualized academic success plans for students.
• Monitor progress and provide follow-up.
• Support course selection, graduation requirements, and educational pathways.
• Provide referrals to tutoring, disability services, counseling, and other resources.
• Maintain student case-management records and documentation.
