Central Council Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes is seeking a Child Welfare Coordinator to supervise Family Caseworker I/II staff and support the Tribal Family and Youth Services Department. You’ll oversee case workflows, ensure compliance with ICWA and agency policies, and coordinate training and meetings in the local area.

The role emphasizes strong communication, confidentiality, and the ability to prepare program reports and grant documentation while supporting a sustainability plan for staff

Formación

• Associates Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Two years of related experience, supervisory preferred.
• Knowledge of ICWA and strong social work principles.
• Strong communication, confidentiality and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise Family Caseworker I/II staff and Administrative Assistant as applicable.
• Ensure program assessments are administered within required timeframes.
• Mediate client complaints and conduct CQI audits of case files.
• Develop and revise procedures based on hearings, complaints and audits.
• Ensure timely case documentation and reporting; coordinate staff trainings.
• Assist with budgeting, reporting and scheduling for community meetings.
