Job summary

AppleOne has exclusive partnership with a highly respected boutique Fort Lauderdale law firm to place an experienced Associate Attorney specializing in Matrimonial and Family Law.

The ideal candidate will independently manage cases, draft pleadings and orders, argue hearings, and interact confidently with judges and clients, while maintaining client relationships and meeting a demanding 125 billable hours per month.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar license in good standing.
• Strong Family / Matrimonial Law experience.
• Hands-on hearings & trial experience.
• Ability to draft pleadings, motions & proposed orders.
• Confidence appearing before judges and arguing hearings.
• Strong client-management skills.
• Polished, articulate & able to command a courtroom.
• Ability to independently manage a caseload.
• Comfortable meeting 125 billable hours/month.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a matrimonial/family law caseload.
• Prepare and argue hearings.
• Draft pleadings and proposed orders.
• Interact confidently with judges and opposing counsel.
• Take matters through trial when necessary.
