Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Family Law Associate Attorney for a boutique North Florida firm in Jacksonville. The role requires a Florida-licensed attorney with strong litigation and negotiation skills, capable of handling a diverse caseload and delivering excellent client service.

The ideal candidate has 1–5 years of family law experience, courtroom exposure in Florida, and proficiency with case management software. Competitive salary ($110,000–$125,000) and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with The Florida Bar.
• 1-5 years of family law experience (associate or senior level).
• Demonstrated courtroom experience in Florida circuit courts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with case management software (Clio, MyCase, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, child custody, support, alimony, and related relief.
• Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and orders.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies in line with Florida statutes and case law.
• Appear in Florida circuit courts for hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.
• Advise clients clearly on their rights and options.
• Collaborate with paralegals and staff to manage case files efficiently.
• Maintain compliance with Florida Bar rules and ethical standards.
• Meet billing and productivity targets set by firm management.
