You will manage a defense caseload, draft pleadings and discovery, conduct depositions, and argue motions in state and federal courts while cultivating direct client relationships.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Bar member in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of civil litigation defense experience.
• Ability to manage cases independently from pleadings through discovery and motion practice.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• In-office Tampa, FL commute and full-time availability.

Responsibilities

• Manage a defense litigation caseload from intake through resolution, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
• Draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and discovery with minimal supervision.
• Conduct depositions of witnesses, clients, and experts across civil liability matters.
• Argue motions and attend hearings in Florida state and federal courts.
• Develop case strategy with partners and contribute analytical perspective.
