The ideal candidate has senior-level paralegal experience in California, works with medical experts, investigators, and retains trial teams; salary is $100,000–$140,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage a litigation caseload from inception through trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and legal correspondence
• Conduct and defend depositions
• Attend hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and arbitrations
• Develop litigation strategy alongside senior attorneys
• Work with medical experts, investigators, and retained experts
• Manage plaintiff personal injury litigation files from filing through trial
• Draft and respond to written discovery, including interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admission
• Prepare motions, pleadings, subpoenas, and other litigation documents
• Coordinate trial preparation, including exhibit binders, witness files, trial notebooks, and calendaring deadlines
• Assist attorneys with depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial logistics
• Organize and maintain litigation files and case management systems
