National Litigation Law Firm seeks an experienced Trial Paralegal to join a sophisticated defense litigation team handling high-stakes matters. You will work closely with a demanding trial attorney, manage exhibits and witnesses, coordinate trial logistics, and travel with the team to trials throughout Texas and nationwide.

Formación

• 5+ years of law firm litigation experience.
• Defence litigation experience strongly preferred.
• Significant trial preparation and trial support experience.
• Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent.
• Proactive and highly organized with ownership mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Work directly with attorneys on complex litigation matters from discovery through trial.
• Prepare, edit, and proofread pleadings, correspondence, agreements, and other documents.
• Monitor deadlines and attorney needs to keep cases moving.
• Assist with discovery, depositions, subpoenas, and document review.
• Organize electronic case files through iManage.
• Coordinate witnesses and prepare trial subpoenas.
• Compile trial notebooks, exhibits, and other materials.
• Manage exhibits during trial.
• Attend and support trials across Texas and nationwide.
• Maintain accurate time entries and billing compliance.

A highly regarded national litigation law firm is seeking an experienced Trial Paralegal to join a sophisticated defense litigation team handling complex, high-stakes matters.

This is not a behind-the-scenes litigation support position. You'll work closely with a demanding, fast-moving trial attorney and play an integral role in preparing cases for trial, managing exhibits and witnesses, coordinating trial logistics, and traveling with the team to trials throughout Texas and nationwide.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with attorneys on complex litigation matters from discovery through trial
• Prepare, edit, and proofread pleadings, correspondence, agreements, and other case documents
• Keep cases moving by proactively monitoring deadlines, outstanding items, and attorney needs
• Assist with written discovery, depositions, subpoenas, and document review
• Organize and maintain electronic case files through iManage
• Coordinate witnesses and prepare trial subpoenas
• Compile trial notebooks, exhibits, demonstratives, and other trial materials
• Manage exhibits and case materials during trial
• Attend and support trials throughout Texas and nationwide
• Assist additional attorneys and litigation teams as needed
• Maintain accurate time entries and comply with client billing guidelines

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of law firm litigation experience
• Defense litigation experience strongly preferred
• Significant trial preparation and trial support experience
• Bachelor's degree, Paralegal Certificate, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Highly organized, meticulous, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership
• Able to work effectively with demanding, high-performing trial attorneys
• Strong judgment and ability to anticipate issues before they become problems
• Comfortable learning new technology and litigation platforms
• Experience with iManage is a plus
• Ability to lift and manage files/boxes up to 30 lbs.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively for trial

The Trial Component

Candidates should genuinely enjoy being in trial. Some trials may require 6 to 8 weeks of travel, both inside and outside Texas.
