Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a passionate plaintiff-side personal injury attorney for a fully on-site role in New York City. You will advise and advocate for clients, manage cases from intake through resolution, conduct depositions, prepare pleadings, and represent clients in negotiations and at trial.

The ideal candidate has a J.D., 3+ years of PI litigation, strong courtroom presence, excellent written and verbal communication, and the resilience to handle a demanding caseload.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of plaintiff-side personal injury litigation experience.
• Comfort and confidence in the courtroom — trial experience strongly preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong work ethic, resilience, and ability to manage a demanding caseload.

Responsibilities

• Advise and advocate for clients on a wide range of personal injury claims, including slip and fall, construction accidents, and motor vehicle collisions.
• Build and manage cases from intake through resolution — investigations, depositions, discovery, and trial.
• Interview clients, witnesses, and expert witnesses to develop strong litigation strategies.
• Draft and file complaints, motions, pleadings, and all related legal documents.
• Represent clients at negotiations, mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings.
• Collaborate with a sharp internal team to move cases forward efficiently.
• Stay current on evolving personal injury law and apply new developments to your practice.
