Job summary

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join its New Mexico office. The attorney will handle motor vehicle liability / automobile accident cases in litigation for plaintiffs, with focus on trial preparation and trial work.

The position offers a base salary, non-recoverable draw, and standard commission/bonuses, plus a full benefits package. Applicants should have a JD, NM Bar admission, and a track record in personal injury litigation.

Qualifications

• JD/Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active NM State Bar membership in good standing.
• 3+ years of Personal Injury / auto liability experience.
• Ability to manage a high volume of litigation cases.
• Excellent client service and strong written/oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle motor vehicle liability / auto accident cases in litigation.
• Lead trial preparation and trial activities.
• Draft and file pleadings, discovery requests, and motions.
• Guide plaintiffs through the case process and coordinate with experts.
• Attend depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances.
