Strategic Legal Practices in Los Angeles is seeking a Trial Attorney to join our dynamic trial team. This role targets ambitious attorneys eager to gain courtroom experience, frequently travel, and advance quickly to senior trial roles.

You will work with seasoned attorneys, contributing to case strategy, trial preparation, and courtroom execution while maintaining high professional standards and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of trial-related experience (jury, bench, or significant trial prep/support).
• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Exceptional written and verbal advocacy skills.
• Strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Assertive, competitive, and trial-ready with excellent courtroom presence.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for cases.

Responsibilities

• Drive case strategy alongside senior trial attorneys to achieve optimal outcomes for clients.
• Handle hearings, motions, and trial work under supervision of senior attorneys.
• Assist in all phases of trial preparation including depositions, hearings, and witness preparation.
• Support senior trial attorneys with case strategy and execution.
• Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial testimony, including reviewing case facts and cross-examination prep.
• Manage assigned tasks and deadlines with growing independence.
• Travel frequently across California to attend hearings and trials.
• Contribute to the team’s trial readiness and litigation success.
